River Gade, Cassiobury, Watford
The River Gade splitting off from The Grand Union Canal. When the canal was built the 4th Earl of Essex who owned Cassiobury insisted the canal was landscaped where it went through his land and that the towpath was on the further side of the canal to keep the riff-raff out.
