'The Moat’, St Joan of Arc School, Rickmansworth
Linked to the River Chess drainage network this formal water feature was created in the garden of the Georgian house ‘The Elms’. Notable for the famous resident George Eliott (although she only stayed there for three years) the house was later purchased by an order of nuns and is now part of a catholic secondary school.
